Daily Naqshbandi Awrad (Litanies)
The Naqshbandi follower has to practice their prayers and obligations according to the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (s) and to keep the presence and love of Allah alive in their heart through a personal experience of the link between themself and their Lord. In adherence to the traditions of any Sufi order, students are assigned a prescribed set of daily spiritual practices that they are required to diligently observe together with all other obligations, according to the Shari'ah of the Prophet ﷺ. It is the way that the student reaches the key of nearness to Allah. The following is the General Daily Awrad (Spiritual Practices) for the followers of Naqshbandi Spiritual Path, starting from the level of the beginner (Mubtadi'), to the level of the people of determination (mureed):
بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

الشَّهَادَة
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إلَّا الله وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
Ashhadu an lā ilāha illAllāh, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ﷺʿabduhū wa Rasūluh (3x)
I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and Messenger.

سورة الفاتحة
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ (١) ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ (٢) ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ (٣) مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ (٤) إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ (٥) ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ (٦) صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا
ٱلضَّآلِّينَ (٧)
Bismillāhi ar-Rahmāni ar-Rahīm. Al-hamdu lillāhi Rabbil-ʿālamīn. Ar-Rahmāni ar-Rahīm. Māliki Yawmid-Dīn. Iyyāka naʿbudu wa iyyāka nastaʿīn. Ihdinas-sirāt al-mustaqīm. Sirāt al-ladhīna anʿamta ʿalayhim Ghayri-l-maghdūbi ʿalayhim walā-d-dāllīn.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the Straight Path—the path of those who have received Your grace; not of those who have brought down wrath upon themselves, nor of those who have gone astray.
Amana ar Rasul (2:285-286 Holy Qur’an)
Whoever recites these verses, will attain a high rank/station. He will get the Safety of al-Aman, in this world and hereafter.
آمن الرسول
ءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦ ۚ وَقَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ(٢٨٥) لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا ٱكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَآ إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُۥ عَلَئ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦ ۖ وَٱعْفُ عَنَّا وَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَٱرْحَمْنَآ ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلانَا فَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ (٢٨٦)
Āmanar-rasūlu bimā unzila ilayhi min rabbihi wal-mu’minūn; kullun āmana billāhi wa malā’ikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulih, lā nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulih, wa qālū samiʿnā wa ataʿnā, ghufrānaka rabbanā wa ilaykal-masīr. Lā yukallifullāhu nafsan illā wusʿahā, lahā mā kasabat wa ʿalayhā ma iktasabat. Rabbanā lā tu’ākhidhnā in nasīnā aw akhta’nā. Rabbanā wa lā tahmil alaynā isran kamā hamaltahu ʿala alladhīna min qablina. Rabbanā wa lā tuhammilnā mā lā tāqata lanā bih. Waʿfu ʿannā, waghfir lanā, warhamnā. Anta mawlānā, fa-ansurnā ʿala al-qawmi-l-kāfirīn.
The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers, saying, “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You is the destination.” Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.
Surat ash Sharh (94th Chapter of Holy Qur’an) (7x)
سورة الشرح (٧ مرات)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ. أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ (١) وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ (٢) ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ (٣) وَرَفَعْنَا
لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ (٤) فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (٥) إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (٦) فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ (٧) وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَبْ

Bismillāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-Raḥīm. Alam nashraḥ laka ṣadrak. Wa waḍaʿnā ʿanka wizrak. Alladhī anqaḍa ẓahrak. Wa rafaʿnā laka dhikrak. Fa-inna maʿa al-ʿusri yusrā. Inna maʿa al-ʿusri yusrā. Fa-idhā faraghta fanṣab. Wa ilā rabbika farghab (7x)
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Did We not expand for you your chest? And We removed from you your burden, Which had weighed heavily upon your back, And raised high for you your renown. So surely with hardship comes ease. Indeed, with hardship comes ease. So when you are finished [with one task], strive [in devotion]. And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
Surat al Ikhlas (112th Chapter of Holy Qur’an) (11x)
Bismillāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-Raḥīm. Qul huwa Allāhu Aḥad. Allāhu aṣ-Ṣamad. Lam yalid wa lam yūlad. Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad (11x)
Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One. (1) Allah, the Eternal Absolute/Refuge. (2) He neither begets nor is born. (3) Nor there is none like unto Him.” (4) (The Sincerity, Holy Qur’an)

Surat al Falaq (113th Chapter of Holy Qur’an)
سورة الفلق
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ. قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ (١) مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ (٢) وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ (٣) وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّاثَاتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ (٤) وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ (٥)
Bismillāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-Raḥīm. Qul aʿūdhu birabbi al-falaq. Min sharri mā khalaq. Wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab. Wa min sharri an-naffāthāti fī al-ʿuqad. Wa min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak. From the evil of what He created. And from the evil of darkness when it settles. And from the evil of blowers in knots. And from the evil of an envier when he envies”
Surat an Nas (114th Chapter of Holy Qur’an)
سورة الناس
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ. قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ (١) مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ (٢) إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ (٣) مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ (٤) ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ (٥) مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ (٦)
Bismillāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-Raḥīm. Qul aʿūdhu birabbi an-nās. Maliki an-nās. Ilāhi an-nās. Min sharri al-waswāsi al-khannās. Alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūri an-nās. Mina al-jinnati wa an-nās
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer – Who whispers in the breasts of mankind – Among jinn and among mankind.”

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad ﷺ and upon the family of Muhammad ﷺ, and grant peace

صَلِّ يَارَبِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ الأَنْبِيآءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَآلِ كُلٍّ أَجْمَعِيْنَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ.عَلَى أَشْرَفِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ ﷺ عَلَى أَفْضَلِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ ﷺ عَلَى أَكْمَلِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ ﷺ صَلَوَاتُ للهِ تَعَالَى وَمَلآئِكَتِهِ وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَجَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةٌ اللهِ تَعَالَى وَبَرَكَاتُهُ ، وَرَضِيَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَنْ سَادَاتِنَا أَصْحَابِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ أَجْمَعِيْنَ ، وَعَنِ التَّابِعِيْنَ بِهِمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ وَعَنِ الأَئِمَّةِ الْمُجْتَهَِدِيْنَ الْمَاضِيْنَ ، وَعَنِ الْعُلَمَآءِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ ، وَعَنِ الأَوْلِيآءِ الصَّالِحِيْنَ وَعَن مَشَائِخِنَا فِي الطَّرِيْقَةِ النَّقْشَبَنْدِيَّةِ الْعَلِيَّةِ ، قَدَّسَ اللهُ تَعَالَى أَرْوَاحَهُمُ الزَّكِيَّةَ وَنَوَّرَ اللهُ تَعَالَ أَضْرِحَتَهُمُ الْمُبَارَكَةَ ، وَ أعَادَاللهُ تَعالَ عَلَينَا مِنْ برَكَاتِهمْ وَفُيُوضَاتِهِم دَائِمًا وَالْحمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ ، الْفَاتِحَةُ
Ṣalli yā Rabbī wa sallim ʿalā jamīʿi l-anbiyāʾi wal-mursalīn, wa āli kullin ajmaʿīn, wa alḥamdu lillāhi Rabbil-ʿālamīn.ʿAlā ashrafi l- ʿālamīn Sayyidinā Muḥammadin aṣ-ṣalawāt ﷺʿAlā afḍali l-ʿālamīn Sayyidinā Muḥammadin aṣ-ṣalawāt ﷺ Alā akmali l-ʿālamīn Sayyidinā Muḥammadin aṣ-ṣalawāt ﷺ Ṣalawātu Allāhi taʿālā wa malāʾikatihi wa anbiyāʾihi wa rusulih, wa jamīʿi khalqihi ʿalā Muḥammadin ﷺ wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad ﷺ,ʿalayhi wa ʿalayhim as-salām wa raḥmatu-llāhi taʿālā wa barakātuh. Wa raḍiya-llāhu tabāraka wa taʿālā ʿan sadātinā aṣḥābi Rasūli-llāhi ajmaʿīn, wa ʿani t-tābiʿīna bihim biiḥsān, wa ʿani l-aʾimmati l-mujtahidīn al- maʿādīn, wa ʿani l-ʿulamāʾi l-muttaqīn, wa ʿani l-awliyāʾi ṣ-ṣāliḥīn, wa ʿan mashāyikhinā fī ṭ-ṭarīqati n-Naqshbandiyyati l-ʿAliyya, qaddasa-llāhu taʿālā arwāḥahumu z-zakiyya, wa nawwara-llāhu taʿālā adriḥatahum almubāraka, wa aʿāda-llāhu taʿāla ʿalaynā min barakātihim wa fuyūḍātihim dāʾiman. Wa al-ḥamdu li-llāhi Rabbil-ʿālamīn. Al-Fātiḥah.
O my Lord, send peace and blessings upon all the Prophets and Emissaries, and on the family of every one of them. Praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Upon the most noble of creatures our Master Muhammad be blessings ﷺ. Upon the most preferred of creatures, our Master Muhammad, be blessings ﷺ. Upon the most perfect of creatures, our Master Muhammad, be blessings ﷺ. Blessings of Allah (Exalted is He!) of His angels, of His prophets, of His Emissaries. and of all of His creation be upon Muhammad ﷺ and the family of Muhammad ﷺ, may the peace and mercy of Allah (Exalted is He!) and His blessings be upon him and upon them. May Allah the Blessed and Most High be pleased with every one of our Masters, the Companions of the Emissary of Allah and with those who followed them in excellence. [May He be pleased] with the early imams of ijtihad and with the pious scholars, and the righteous saints and with our Shaykhs in the exalted Naqshbandi tariqa; may Allah (Exalted is He!) sanctify their pure souls, and illuminate their blessed graves. May Allah (Exalted is He!) return to us of their blessings and overflowing bounty, always. Praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Al-Fatihah.

إِلَى شَرَفِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَآلِهِ وَأَصَحْابِهِ الْكِرََام. وَإِلَى أَرْوَاحِ إخْوَانِهِ مِنَ الْأنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَخُدَماءِ شَرَائِعهِمْ. وَإلَى أرْوَاحِ الأَئِمَّةِ الأرْبَعَة. وإلى أرْوَاحِ مَشَايِخَنا فِيْ الطَّرِيقَةِ النَّقْشْبَنْدِيَّةِ الْعَلِيَّة، خَاصَّةً إلَى رُوْحِ إمامِ الطَّرِيقَة وَغَوْثُ الخَلِيقَة خََوَاجَه بَهَاءُ الدِّينِ النّقْشْبَنْد مُحَمَّدِ الأُوَيْسِي البُخَارِي وَإِلَى سَيِّدَنَا عَبْدُ الْخَالِقُ الْغُجْدَوَانِيْ مَوْلانا الشَّيْخ شَرَفُ الدِّينِ الدَّاغَسْتَانِي مَوْلانا الشَّيْخ عَبْدُ اللهِ الفَائِزْ الدَّاغَسْتَانِي وَإلى مَوْلانَا الشَّيْخ مُحَمَّدُ ناَظِمُ عَادِلْ الحَقَّانِي وَ سَائِرِ سَادَاتِنَا وَالصِّدِّيقِين، الفاتحة
Ilā sharafi’n-Nabī, ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, wa ālihi wa aṣḥābihi l-kirām, wa ilā arwāḥi jamīʿi l-anbiyā’i wa l-mursalīn, wa khudamā’i sharā’iʿihim, wa ilā arwāḥi al-a’immah alarbaʿah, wa ilā arwāḥi mashāyikhinā fī ṭ-Ṭarīqah an-Naqshbandiyyah al-Aliyyah — khāṣṣatan Imāmu ṭ-Ṭarīqah wa Ghawthu l-Khalīqah, Khwājah Bahā’uddīn Muḥammad alUwaysī al-Bukhārī, Sayyidina ʿAbdu l-Khāliq al-Ghujduwānī, Mawlānā Shaykh Sharafuddīn ad-Dāghistānī, Mawlānā Shaykh ʿAbdullāh al-Fāʾiz ad-Dāghistānī, Mawlānā Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim ʿĀdil al-Ḥaqqānī, wa sā’iri Sādatinā wa ṣ-Ṣiddīqīn
Al-Fātiḥah.
To the honour of the Prophet ﷺ, Prayers and Peace be upon Him, and his family, and his companions, and the souls of all the prophets as well as of His messengers and of those who served their Sharia, and to the souls of the four Imams. And to the souls of our Mashayikh of the Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Tariqa, in particular to the soul of the Imam of the Tariqa Ghawth alKhaliqa (the Help of Creation), Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad al-Uwaisiyi l-Bukhari, Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujduwani, Mawlana Shaykh Sharafuddin al Daghestani, Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah al Faiz al Daghestani, Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al Haqqani, and the rest of our masters and Siddiqiyun.
